“Sunny Cooter” presents the first ever Inverness Country Jam, featuring headliners Sawyer Brown, Aaron Tippin, Lorrie Morgan and Sammy Kershaw, scheduled to take place along the shores of Lake Henderson in Liberty Park and The Depot in Inverness, Florida, October 28-30. Tickets go on sale July 15.

Other performers will include Collin Raye, Frank Ray, the James Barker Band and more.

Festival promoter Steve Pritchard of Pro Tours Event Management describes the Inverness Country Jam as Florida’s most affordable country music festival, with tickets available from $60 for all three days. V.I.P. packages are also available, which will allow holders access to a private bar and restaurant-style tent, VIP parking, air conditioned restrooms and premium seating. Discounted pricing is available until August 15, which can save fans anywhere from $25 to $200. Details are available on the festival website www.invernesscountryjam.com.

“You would have to pay sixty dollars or more to go to a single concert by some of these incredible artists,” Pritchard said. “The Inverness Country Jam will have twenty shows over three days, featuring some of the top classic stars of the 80’s and 90’s as well as the stars of tomorrow.”

The festival will take place over the weekend when the City of Inverness has traditionally held the legendary Great American Cooter Festival, whose turtle mascot, “Sunny Cooter,” has long been popular with fans. With the support of the City of Inverness, and the thumbs up from “Sunny Cooter” himself, the Inverness Country Jam features two stages, food trucks, two bars, festival vendors and a kids’ play area. Optional off-site camping is available.

“We have invested millions in redeveloping our lakefront parks and The Depot District, which created an environment that is much more conducive to handling a big festival,” said City Manager Eric Williams. “We have beautiful waterways, a natural lake system, and the longest bike trail in Florida. Our motto is ‘Small Town Done Right’”.
